Abstract: 

IN ORDER TO INVESTIGATION OF COMPETITION EFFECT ON TOMATO LEAF AREA Index, AN EXPERIMENT WAS CONDUCTED DURING 2005 GROWING SEASON.TREATMENTS INCLUDED WEED FREE AND WEED INTERFERENCE PERIOD UP TO 14, 28, 42, 70, 84 DAYS AFTER SEEDLING TRANSFER AND TO THE END OF GROWTH SEASON (WEED FREE AND WEEDY CHECK).THE EXPERIMENT WAS LAID OUT IN A COMPLETE RANDOMIZE BLOCK DESIGN, WITH THREE REPLICATIONS. Abstract: 

Extended Abstract      Introduction National Competitiveness as an important economic goal in the context of globalization has been considered by many policymakers around the world. In the Iran, national Competitiveness has been considered by officials and the government of men, so that achieving Iran's top economic, scientific, and technological position among the countries, especially among the countries of Southwest Asia, is one of the most important goals in the 20-Year Vision Document. Therefore, providing a framework for identifying and prioritizing factors that help improve Iran's Competitiveness can be effective in achieving this goal.   Methodolog This study intends to provide a new framework based on the Global Competitiveness Index to prioritize the Competitiveness pillars to increase the national Competitiveness of Iran and determine the benchmark countries. This framework is implemented in three stages. The countries of the world are first clustered on the basis of Competitive pillars using the fuzzy c-means clustering algorithm to distinguish the countries that are more similar in terms of national Competitiveness. The Competitiveness pillars in each cluster are then weighted using the CCSD weighting method. The weights obtained indicate the importance and priority of Competitive factors. Finally, the WASPAS method is used to rank the countries in each cluster. These rankings are used to identify benchmark countries in each cluster.   Results and Discussion Based on the results of this study, the countries of the world were first classified into three clusters. Clusters 1, 2 and 3 represent the developing, least developed, and the developed countries, respectively. After clustering the countries, Competitive pillars were weighed using the CCSD weighting method. Accordingly, the labor market in cluster 1, the product market in cluster 2, and macroeconomic stability in cluster 3 had the highest weights. The higher the weight of a pillar, the higher its importance and priority in terms of Competitiveness. For the Iran, labor market, macroeconomic stability and infrastructures were the most important Competitiveness factors, respectively. Finally, the countries of each cluster were ranked using the WASPAS method. Latvia, Thailand, and Cyprus in cluster 1, Namibia, Kenya, and Macedonia in cluster 2, and Singapore, United States and Switzerland were top three ranked countries. Iran, with a rank of 58, is among the last countries in cluster 1 in this ranking. Latvia, Thailand, and Cyprus, which have the highest rankings in Cluster 1, can be used as benchmark countries for Iran.   Conclusions  National Competitiveness has become the main focus of policymakers and governments. Therefore, in this study, a framework based on national Competitiveness Index was presented to determine the national Competitiveness priorities as well as benchmark countries for Iran. In this framework, the countries of the world were first clustered based on Competitive pillars using fuzzy c-means algorithm. Competitive columns were then weighed in each cluster using CCSD method. Finally, the countries of each cluster were ranked using the WASPAS method. Based on the proposed framework, Competitive factors and priorities as well as benchmark countries for the Iran were determined.

Abstract: 

vStock market has been one of the most influential economic phenomena in the world for many years. The main players in the stock market are investors that are always looking to make the most profit. Since prices of stock market transactions is Impressionable from political, economic, social problems and the high volatility of prices, the prediction of stock market is very difficult. The main solution for more profits in the market is making the right decisions about buying and selling appropriate stocks in appropriate time. Therefore, prediction is the most important requirements for traders. I this research, a new hybrid algorithm is proposed that uses imperialist Competitive algorithm as a feature selection method and fuzzy adaptive neural inference system as a prediction function. This approach uses 63 features that affect the stock market, including economic features, Iran and other countries stock market Indexes, technical analysis Indexes and Japanese Candlestick on a daily basis in the period from 2010-2016. The Exchange Stock Index for the next day is considered as the target variable. The results show that the hybrid model includes Adaptive Neural Fuzzy Inference System (ANFIS) and Imperialist Competitive Algorithm, is much appropriate. This model is compared with a single ANFIS model has better approximation speed and the ability to predict the stock.

Abstract: 

Background and objectives: Carpal Tunnel Syndrome (CTS) is the most common mononeuropathy encountered in clinical practice. Conventional electro diagnosis studies have been useful in the diagnosis of this condition. The Terminal Latency Index (TLI) is a derived neurophysiological value that adjusts the Distal motor Latency (DL) for the terminal distance and motor nerve Conduction Velocity (CV).Several studies have suggested utility of the median TLI for diagnosis of CTS.The goal of this study is to evaluate prospectively the sensitivity of the median TLI in the diagnosis of CTS and compare it with other electrodiagnosis techniques.Material and Methods: This study was done on 111 patients as CTS group & 62 healthy subject as control group. In all groups five selected tests of electrodiagnosis were done and all of them were compared with TLI sensitivity.Results: The mean TLI was 0.3±0.05 in the CTS group and 0.42±0.03 in the control group. The sensitivity of TLI was 73% The TLI wasn't statistically better than the other tests, but in three cases from the CTS group, the TLI was the only abnormal test.The 7 and 14 cm method had meaningful sensitivity in contrary to other tests.Conclusion: The sensitivity of TLI has no meaningful difference with other routine electro diagnostic tests in diagnosis of CTS.The median TLI is a useful but not more sensitive electrodiagnostic test for CTS.

Abstract: 

Introduction: Three methods of OCRA Index, Strain Index (SI), and ACGIH HAL have been proposed for the assessment of risk factors of upper limb musculoskeletal disorders. Investigating the correlation and consistency of these three methods are of prominence importance in the workplaces. Thus, this study aimed to determine the correlations of the results of the above mentioned methods. Materials and Methods: In this cross-sectional study, a total of 150 tasks were studied in four industries. For each task, a video taping of a full working cycle was prepared and evaluated according to the instructions of each method. The level of risk exposure to musculoskeletal disorders was analyzed with correlation and Kappa agreement coefficient tests using SPSS (version 16) and R software packages.Results: The correlation between the results of risk assessments of OCRA and SI methods for right and left hands were acceptable and equal to 0.751 and 0.726, respectively (p<0.001). Meanwhile, the coefficients of agreement between OCRA and HAL methods for left and right hands were 0.526 and 0.595, respectively.Conclusion: These findings partly confirmed the agreement between the methods of risk assessment. The origin of this partial agreement can be the number and type of variables and their impacts on the final score of the methods.

Abstract: 

Competition law is a newcomer to the legal system recently. A sound understanding of competition policy can provide us with sufficient bases to apply a fundamental and normative view of the issues of competition law. The difference in supervision and regulation determines how the market functions and in order to understand this difference one must understand competition policy. Competition policy may be based on governmental support for national production and industry or on a non-interventional and regulatory posture. Moreover, supervision, based on the principle of non-intervention in the market mechanism, is rooted in liberal ideas; however, regulation, whether as a rule or an exception, is based on the assertion that the market has been ineffective in attaining its goals. Therefore, the government will resort to interventions to regulate inefficiencies.  This paper aims to analyze Supervisory Authority in Implementing Competitive Policy by employing the description method. In this article the author tries to first delineate competition policy, its related requirements and imposed deviations to the market. Then, by defining the supervisory entity and clarifying its distinction from the regulatory institutions, the author considers the characteristics of an appropriate supervisory entity conducting a comparative study of this issue in Iran and the U.S.A. This form of Competition policy because of its applicable experiences which have been well described by recent scholarship is considered suitable for the native system.

Abstract: 

Introduction: J.E.Hirsch introduced H Index to scientometric domain, representing actual scientific profitability quality of a researcher’s publications; and is equal to effective Index for researchers. Literature review: Studies showed that documents database have provided different H scores for each researcher and for different scientific fields. Despite the utmost advantages of H-Index it also have some flaws such as need to use complementary indices such as m, r, g Index. Conclusions: The strength point of H Index, is its ability to use in limited levels which is an complementary for other bibliomeetric exist Indexes. This Index, with others, could be a suit Index to improvement scientific levels for researchers, scientist, and scientific board members.

Abstract: 

International scientific collaborations are an important and influential factor in the process of internationalization of universities and higher education institutions. The quantitative measure of this type of interaction is the international scientific output. Internationally published scientific articles play the most role. In this paper, the international scientific publication of industrial engineering in the world and Iran has been analyzed with a Competitiveness approach through a Location Quotient Index (LQI) focusing on Iranian industrial engineering publication. The data base of this study is the 148240 records of bibliographic information of articles published in 55 journals in the field of industrial engineering and special focus on 3424 articles published by Iranian researchers in the last 50 years by descriptive survey method. The results indicate that industrial engineering production has been growing and leaping in recent decades. The top countries in the publication of international articles in this field are the US, China and the United Kingdom. A quantitative comparison of Iran's international scientific publication with that of other countries shows that it ranks 15th in the world and first in the region. Investigating the Competitive advantage of international industrial engineering production of Iran in cooperation with other countries using the LQI shows that in terms of quantity and quality compared to total international industrial engineering publication in the world and total engineering publication in Iran, it has a relatively high relative Competitive advantage.
